NOVA SCOTIA LOYAL
Nova Scotia – and Nova Scotians – have a lot to be proud of.
Worldclass seafood and agriculture products. Award-winning craft beers, ciders, spirits and wines (including our very own Tidal Bay appellation – not found anywhere else in the world). Innovative entrepreneurs and start-ups. Talented artists, musicians and creatives. And of course, amazing small businesses.
Nova Scotia Loyal is about reminding us that no matter where you live in Nova Scotia – or how long you’ve lived here – we can all be proud to call this province home. Our vibrant communities have welcomed an unprecedented number of new Nova Scotians to our province – 12,650 permanent residents in 2022. And we know that no matter what brings new Nova Scotians here, it is our communities that keep them here.
The Department of Economic Development is leading the development and implementation of Nova Scotia Loyal, a buy local program that will be a compelling call to action, highly visible and supported by a consumer incentive reward program.
Over the past year, we’ve been collecting retailer and consumer research, which has reinforced the value of supporting the local economy and the sense of connection and pride buying local gives people.
Be sure to follow us on social media and visit our website at www.NSLoyal.ca as our work on Nova Scotia Loyal continues and we get closer to launching the program.
